Reset A Careview Connect Password

Use this guide to reset your Careview Connect password.

Note: You will have had to log into Careview Connect using the initial Welcome email. If not you will need to get the organisation that supplied you access to re-send the Welcome email. 


1. Go to  https://connect.careview.io/login?ReturnUrl=%2F the Careview Connect log in page will load


2. Click on the Forgot Password? link

3. Type in the recovery email address of your Connect account (or your login email address if you have not yet set a recovery email address on your Connect account) and click Submit.




4. If the email address is valid, you will then receive a Reset Password link to the specified email address ( in some cases it may have gone to your Spam or Junk folder)

5. Once you have logged in with your temporary password.  The Change Password screen displays.
  1. Enter the Current Password (temporary password provided in the email)
  2. Enter the New Password
  3. Enter again to confirm the New Password
As you enter a password into the New Password and Confirm New Password fields, the 'Password Requirements' dialogue screen will validate the password entered and indicate whether it meets the minimum requirements.



6. Click on the Submit button.

7. If the minimum password requirements have been met, the system will confirm that the password has
successfully changed and prompt the user to re-login.



In the event you have not yet entered a Recovery Email Address.  Please follow these steps after confirming your new Password.

7. Click on the Next button.

8. The Add a Recovery Email Address screen displays.

  1. Enter a Recovery Email Address
  2. Enter to Confirm your Recovery Email Address

Your Recovery Email Address can not be the same as your Email Address (Username)




9. Click on the Submit button.  The Account Update Alert displays to confirm the email address has been updated.


10. Click on the Connect Logo, the Login screen displays.  Login with your new Password.
